THE CLUB - BEGINNERS

As part of its commitment to promoting participation in archery O.O.B.A.C. welcomes all beginners to come and try the sport at our club. We run a rolling program of six week beginners' courses and have a range of up to date and well-maintained equipment for novices to learn on within their own designated training range.
Coaching of our novices during these sessions is done by CRB cleared instructors with a range of experience in teaching juniors and other beginners. The first two sessions for novices are free and after that we ask only a nominal fee for the last four weeks of of the course (after this period archers must join the club as full members if they wish to continue shooting with us).
O.O.B.A.C. is happy to welcome ALL prospective archers and, in line with GNAS requirements, nobody will be refused access due to any discrimination on grounds of ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, age, religion, politics or other beliefs.
Please contact our Chairman for further details of our beginners' courses, or come down and see us for a chat on a Sunday morning.
